MBK’s Baking Challenge

After three weeks, six storms, nearly 60 inches of snow, and more tomorrow, it is only fitting that I bake a cake. I survived frozen pipes, snow on the roof, plow trucks blocking the driveway after what seem like endless hours of shoveling. Now, I have to turn around and do it again. Yes, I deserve a cake.

I came across a fun recipe that I plan to make on this snowy weekend. I would like to challenge everyone that reads this to a BAKE OFF.

It is all on the honor system, so, you are the judge.

A few simple rules
1. All of the names of your ingredients must come from the Bible.
2. Bake the cake and take a picture.
3. Post your results to MBK’S blog.

If you made this before and have the recipe, you cannot follow it. You must get the names of the ingredients from the scriptures.

So get your Bibles or Google the scriptures, and let’s get baking.

1st Kings 4:22 – four and a half Cup

Judges 5:25 – One Cup

Jeremiah 6:20 – Two cups

1st Samuel 30:12 – Two cups

Nahum 3:12 – Two cups

Numbers 17:08 – Two cups

1st Samuel 14:25 – Two  Tablespoon

Leviticus 2:13 – One-fourth teaspoon

Judges 4:19 – One-half cup

Amos 4:5 – Two Tablespoon

Jeremiah 17:11 – Six, medium
